Nicole M Andrews DVM
Dr. Andrews was raised on a farm in Moreland, Georgia. She received a Bachelor of Arts in English with a specialty certificate in Language Arts at Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina. She taught middle school language arts for 4 ½ years before deciding to pursue her dream to become a veterinarian.
Dr. Andrews attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated from RUSVM with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2004. Her first post graduate job was practicing equine medicine on a Thoroughbred racing, breeding/training farm in Puerto Rico. Following that, she practiced small animal medicine locally until spring of 2007. Since then she has worked as a relief veterinarian at other small animal practices in Gainesville and Griffin, Georgia, an emergency clinic in north Georgia and a feline specialty practice in Fayetteville, Georgia. Practicing and owning a small animal hospital is a culmination of hard work and a life long dream for Dr. Andrews.
Dr. Andrews family consists of three dogs Stella, Molly and Judy and two thoroughbred horses Summer Indian and Fleet. In her spare time, Dr. Andrews enjoys three-day eventing, exercising with her dogs and reading.
